Henry lies in Tulliallan Cemetery on the eastern edge of Kincardine. The familial headstone is propped against the base due to instability. Henry died on October 15th 1918, at his home in Coatbridge, Lanarkshire, aged thirty-nine, of influenza and pneumonia.

Henry was born in Kincardine in 1878, the eldest son of Blacksmith Henry (Sr) and Eliza (nee Russell). In 1881, the family resided at Perth Road, Kincardine. Henry was 2, and his younger brother William was just three months old. The Kinloch family would grow over the coming decades. Tragically, Henry lost his brother James in December 1890 and his sister Eliza (Jr) in June 1892—Henry would be interred with them later.
By 1901, I believe Henry was lodging with the Kennedy family in Dennistoun, Glasgow. In 1903, he married Christina Shearer in Glasgow. The couple had two children, Margaret (born in 1904) and Henry (born in 1908).
Henry worked as a Blacksmith, the same as his father, and was a master at his death. Henry Sr was present when his son died.
Henry Sr and Eliza would survive their son by over twenty years. Both lived into the Second World War.
